Pokémon Emerald

A role-playing game about a trainer in Hoenn trying to calm both Team Aqua and Team Magma.

Game Freak · 25–35 hrs

Difficulty

Emerald combines the two previous versions and adds the Battle Frontier after the league, a set of optional fight facilities.

Tips

  • Start here

Pick a starter for the first gym

Rock gyms hate Grass and Water less than they hate Fire. The early game is short enough that the later team matters more.

  • Advanced

The Frontier is the real end

The champion is not the last building. Symbols in the Battle Frontier are a separate, much harder campaign.
