Fester's Quest
A top-down adventure about Uncle Fester searching a monster-filled city for his family.
1989

NES #46
NES #46 · 1991 · E10+
A shooter about a mech that reverses gravity so it can walk on the ceiling.
Irem · 1–2 hrs
A gravity-flip run-and-gun from Irem. The gimmick is the whole game: invert, shoot, invert again. Stages read like shooter corridors stood on their heads.
You snap to the new 'floor.' Don't invert mid-jump unless you meant to. The charge shot is for bosses; the rapid fire is for the walk.
A shot fired on the ceiling stays useful when you flip. Learn which turrets only cover one gravity. Death returns you with less weapon — play greedy on the pickup, stingy on the pit.
