Difficulty

The official NES Tetris. B-Type has a finish line and a rocket. A-Type is the infinite stack. DAS, not panic spins, is how you survive 19.

Tips

  • Start here

B-Type 9, height 5, then stop showing off

B-Type is a complete game with a credits rocket. Learn to burn a line at a time before you chase Tetrises. Don't rotate in the well if the piece already fits.

  • Advanced

Hold the direction before the next piece

Delayed auto-shift is the speed. Tap for one-column, hold for a slide. At high speeds, play for survival singles — a Tetris you miss is a top-out.
