Mega Man
A platformer about Mega Man stopping Dr.
1987

NES #04
NES #04 · 1989 · E10+
A run-and-gun platformer about Mega Man taking weapons from eight robot masters.
Capcom · 3–5 hrs
The Robot Master loop that every sequel copies: pick an order, steal a weapon, spend it on the next weakness. Item-1, Item-2, and Item-3 are as important as the buster — they are how you stand where the stage never wanted you.
A clean first loop: Metal Man (quick kills, Metal Blade farms energy), Air Man, Crash Man, Flash Man. Wood, Quick, Bubble, Heat after. Crash Bombs open Wily walls the buster cannot.
The deployable platform from Heat Man's stage is how you skip Air Man's tornado and stand still for Wily bosses. Don't dump Metal Blade on fodder — it is the all-purpose ammo.
