Tips

• Start here

  Dive to put out fire

  Prone stops several DoTs and makes you a smaller target for gunships. Reinforce is the most important stratagem; if it is on cooldown, you are already playing the wrong mission timer.

  Samples extract or they don't exist

  Common, rare, and super samples sit in the person who picked them up. If that Helldiver dies on the ramp, the samples die with them. Super samples start showing on difficulty 7.

• Advanced

  Shoot the charger in the butt

  A Charger's armor wants Recoilless, EAT, or a Quasar in the leg; the rear is meat. Autocannon flak mode deletes Shriekers and gunships. Shield pack if you drop on bots, jump pack if you need to kite Titans.

  Eagle vs Orbital is a timer

  Eagles rearm on a short ship cycle; don't throw a 500kg on a bug hole you could have grenaded. Orbitals are for the breach you cannot see the far side of.

• Secrets

  POIs hide Super Credits

  Bunker vaults need two players to open. Damaged Hellpods, shipping containers, and the little satellite POIs are the Super Credit farm; don't only look at the main objective pips.

• Multiplayer

  Friendly fire is the difficulty

  Railgun, Spear, Airburst, and napalm will team-wipe a cluster. Ping patrols, wait for the extract animation, and don't call an Eagle while a teammate is standing on the beacon.

• Builds

  Light armor for the objective

  Light gunner/scout armor gets samples and objectives done before the third breach. Heavy is for bot hold-outs you already planned to nest on. Pair a support weapon with a backpack that doesn't fight it (no Shield plus Recoilless).
