Final Fantasy

A turn-based RPG about four warriors restoring the crystals and saving the world.

Square · Nintendo · 20–30 hrs

Difficulty

Four orphans, a class pick that is the whole run, and a time loop hiding in the chaos ending. Buy a canoe, then a ship, then an airship. The floating castle is not the last dungeon.

Tips

  • Builds

    Fighter, Monk, White, Black

The classic party needs no Thief. Black Belt becomes a Monk and outdamages everyone once you stop buying him weapons. Two White Mages is a slower clear, not a safer one.

  • Start here

Temple of Fiends is a door, twice

You walk in at level 1 and walk out. Come back with the four orbs lit. The airship sits in the desert south of the crescent — walk, don't warp, the first time you look for it.
