Nintendo R&D4 · Nintendo · 4–8 hrs

Difficulty

The NES at its ceiling: a world map, a suit for every biome, and warp whistles hidden in white-block rooms. Fire Mario is the safe default; Raccoon is how you skip the parts you already learned.

Tips

  • Secrets

    Three whistles, then world 8

1-3: fly over the exit into the white block. 1-Fortress: P-switch, then run behind the wall. 2-Fortress: hidden door in the sliding-Koopa room. Two whistles warp to world 8; the third opens the warp zone.

    P-Wing is a skip, not a crutch

Save Toad-house P-Wings for 7-8, 8-Fortress, and Bowser. Tanooki statue still beats a cheap hit. A held jump on a slope is a flight charge — you do not need a full runway.
