The lane-and-jungle MOBA where wave management is the skill ceiling. Dragon soul vs Baron is a clock; a control ward in the river is still the cheapest play in the game.

Tips

  • Start here

    Last-hit, then the fight

    CS (creep score) is the gold. Don't fight inside the enemy minion wave; the wave attacks you. Buy a control ward every back and put it in the river brush, not in your own fountain.

    Don't chase into fog

    If they walk into an unwarded jungle, they have a teammate. Cannon minions arrive on a timer (first around 2:05, then every third wave); crash those into the tower if you want a roam.

    Freeze, slow push, crash

    Hold the wave just outside your tower to freeze. Stack two waves and crash them to deny and roam. A jungler who full-clears and tracks the enemy's first camp will gank a lane that actually has priority.

    Dragon soul vs Baron is a clock

    Fourth dragon is a soul that wins some games by itself. Baron is for the towers after a won teamfight, not a 40-second smack on a still-alive five-man. Swap to blue trinket after you finish your lane wards.

    Jungle tracking from the first leash

    If they start bot-side, they are on your top-side camps at a known time. Ping the missing jungler; don't type it. Support item wards are the early map; the yellow trinket is not enough on its own.

  • Multiplayer

    Ping, then mute

    A missing ping is a better ping than a question-mark on a teammate. Mute all is a valid tool; the minion wave does not need the chat. Play for the next objective timer, not for the last all-chat.

  • Builds

    Recommended is a starting point

    Lethality vs crit on ADC, eclipse vs shieldbow, and a defensive boot swap against a fed assassin will change the game more than a 20-cs lead. Don't finish a third damage item if they have a fed assassin and you have no zhonya or ga.
