Kid Icarus

A vertical platformer about the angel Pit climbing out of the underworld to save Angel Land.

Nintendo R&D1 · Nintendo · 4–6 hrs

Difficulty

A vertical climb through an underworld that steals your items if you die. Pit starts weak; the strength meter is the whole build. The fortress palaces are Zelda rooms hiding in a platformer.

Tips

  • Start here

Farm the first vertical before the hospital

Don't rush the first door. Grind hearts, buy a stronger bow, and keep a hammer for the egg blocks. Falling in the underworld is a full reset of the climb, not a checkpoint.

  • Secrets

The credit password is a second loop

A strong ending needs the sacred treasures and a high score. Don't sell the credit card until the last fortress — interest is how you afford the shops that actually matter.
