Tetris

A puzzle game about fitting falling blocks into solid lines on the Game Boy.

Nintendo · 1–5 hrs

Difficulty

This is the pack-in puzzle that made the handheld. Lines clear when a row is full, and the speed only goes up.

Tips

  • Start here

Keep a well for the long piece

Leave one column open. The straight piece is the only clean way to clear four lines at once.

  • Advanced

Do not stack on the edges first

A messy center with clean sides is harder to save than a flat stack. Place the awkward piece early, not at the top.
