Among Us

A social deduction game about crewmates doing tasks while impostors sabotage the ship.

InnerSloth · 5–15 hrs

Difficulty

A social-deduction lobby game whose skill ceiling is vent maps, fake-task timing, and not throwing a meeting on a body you found as a trio. Confirm ejects on while you learn, off when the table already knows.

Tips

  • Start here

Do your tasks, watch the visuals

Medbay scan, weapons, and garbage are visual tasks on The Skeld when the host leaves visuals on. Admin table and cameras are information; standing on them the entire round is how you miss the kill in Electrical.

  • Start here

    Don't random-vote

Skip is a vote. A random eject on minute one is a wasted crewmate. Ask where they were, and don't vote a color because they were quiet.

  • Advanced

Fake only what you can time

If you fake a visual, you will get caught. Impostors should fake tasks that have no animation, then vent. On Skeld, Electrical vents to Medbay and Security; learn the vent map before you learn a lie.

  • Advanced

Lights plus a kill is the combo

Sabotage lights, kill in the dark, then fix lights as if you were crew. Reactor or O2 is a split; a double kill in late game (two impostors, few crew) is how the lobby actually ends.

  • Secrets

Polus and Airship are different vents

Polus has office and electrical cameras that actually matter. Airship has the gap between rooms that makes 'I was in kitchen' a lie you can catch with a gap check. Confirm ejects ON while a group is learning, OFF for people who already track deaths.

  • Multiplayer

Don't wander as a trio, then button

If three people walk together and one dies, the other two are the list. A stack kill (everyone stands on the same tile) is a lobby agreement to throw; leave the stack. Crossplay lobbies need a host who sets visuals, confirm ejects, and kill cooldown on purpose.
